My style is a timeless elegance with a modern touch. Beautiful colors and attention to detail best describe my photos.
Most of the photos will be very lightly posed while I encourage interaction between all to capture real expressions. The whole time I will be photographing away. You can expect to be on your feet the whole time (unless we take a photo sitting somewhere) while we seek out gorgeous light, stunning skies and beautiful backgrounds that will enhance your personalities. We'll be chatting the whole time and I'll have fun interacting with your kids to make this an enjoyable experience for all!
The session fee is for the time and talent of your photographer. Once your photos are edited and you have had time to view them you will be able to order prints to hang in your home or office (or anywhere else you choose). Prints and framing are separately priced and depend on the size and medium you choose. Digital files, sized for social media and print (up to 8x12) are also included. Contact us for print release for greater than 8x12.
Outdoors in Central Florida or indoors at your home or resort. There are so many great places to choose from. Favorites are; Disney Resorts, Universal Theme Parks & Resorts, Lake Eola, local parks, train stations and lake areas. Beach sessions do cost extra as there is an additional charge for locations 35 or more miles from the 32714 area code.
First you need to choose your location. This could be a local park in Central Florida, or a Disney Resort or even somewhere at Universal Orlando. Choose an area that means something to you or is reflective of your personality.
Next is clothing. Stay away from bold patterns and graphic shirts. If there are two or more people then you will need to color coordinate. Stay away from the white shirts and kakki or jeans combo. Too boring! If you have 3 or more people choose 3 coordinating colors. Take a look at my Pinterest Board for ideas.
Bring any props you may want to use. This could be a hat, box, toy...anything!
Last but not least, make sure you arrive on time or even 5 minutes early. This way you won't feel rushed and flustered so you can have an enjoyable and relaxing photo session.
I will process and edit your photos. The will be ready for viewing in 10 business days (30 days for Fine Art Composite package). You will receive an email with a link to your private viewing gallery. Your gallery will be password protected and available to you for 30 days. We will schedule a follow up consultation in person or by phone. I will help you select the photo(s) you want printed along with the size and type of paper or medium you want your photos printed on.
Because I shoot in what is called "raw" format each image must be processed using a image editing application. A raw photo is one taken by a digital camera where the image has not been processed or compressed by the camera leaving all the data intact that was taken in the image. The image is then uploaded into a program like Lightroom or Photoshop where adjustments are made concerning exposure, contrast, brightness, color and more. Editing refers to cropping, color adjustments, retouching, adding/subtracting from the image and more. Once the image is processed and edited it will be saved in a jpg file for viewing and printing.
I do! Each image that you receive will be hand edited, one at a time. No batch processing or mass producing the results.
Artistic enhancements are added extras such as Fairy Dust, Sun Flares, Sparkler effects, Sky Writing, Sand Writing, adding a Zebra (yes, a zebra), fireworks, and more to the photo in post production.
Yes! If you want a traditional posed family portrait I can certainly do this for you.
Absolutely! Creative senior portraits are very popular and what better location to have them done than in Central Florida with parks, lakes, resorts and theme parks and more to choose from.
Definitely! I have 2 dogs and love animals. You can have your pet in your picture or a separate photo of your pet...just let me know.
Early morning, late afternoon, and early evening. We want the light to be just right. When the sun is at an angle deep in the sky is when the light is just right for photos. We don't want to shoot mid-day when the sun is high as it causes harsh shadows. Photos look best in soft, warm light. Depending on the time of year photos sessions are at 8 am, 9 am, 5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm, and 8 pm.
Yes. I have a Model Release form that I ask all of my clients to sign. This allows me to use your photos for my business on my website portfolios, Facebook and other social media venues. If you want your photos to remain private then you have the option of not signing the form and I will not use your images in my business.
Please feel free to bring any props you may want to use during your photo session.
